100 word count - Kurt

 Today my class and I did a 100 word count. we had to choose 3 interesting words and my were Comrade,Testimony, and Petrified. It was really hard but fun because I love making stories.

here is my story

As I ran into the forest the canopy of trees blinded my sight. Petrified,scared, and worried I kept running and running but it felt endless. While I was running, I heard dead leaves crack, “Who's there?” I asked.

No one responded as my spine tingled and my whole body shaking. Despite the fear, my parents suddenly popped in my head and I remembered them telling me, "Be brave, son."

My comrades and I are lost. We need help. More rustling appeared. I froze. I felt lifeless dead inside as I saw who it was. Remember, “Be brave."

ESOL - Exploring language

 Today at ESOL we played a game called 'Hot potato' it is basically hot potato with paper and pens.

we had to right a short story and everyone had to pass their piece of paper around their table after they have finished righting one word. it was really hard but the outcome was funny . the story's I heard where mainly aimed at dogs and dying?!?! and we also did another game after the first one we did. the rules are simple we just had to right a sentence starting with the alphabet. but there was a catch, every start of the letter or the next word it had to the in the order of the alphabet. Mrs Truter said mine was good but with bit of mistakes.

Today the lessons i learnt was to focus on the rule. it was hard but i had to manage. today was fun i hope we can do it again.

Recount - Kurt

 “Hunt for the Wilder people” is a thrilling movie to watch, but not sincerely aimed at kids, which is becoming one of NZ’s classics

Just for an example, Ricky is one of the protagonists of the movie. He only cared about himself and no one else. He also did stealing,graffiting, and vandalism. But the emotional side of him is that he never had someone to love except for her friend, Amber who sadly passed away. As we go further on the movie. We meet a lovely couple named Bella and Hec. Bella wanted to have a child but sadly couldn't so they were committed to adopt Ricky. Hec didn't want a child but committed to having a child. On the first night that Ricky lived with them. He escaped and ran away. Ricky wasn't an outsider type of guy so he wouldn't survive without Hec.for a few weeks Hec and Ricky had arguments around each other and then made their relationship between them break. Since Bella has passed away Hec and Ricky have not been the best to each other. But through the movie they recover their relationship and become more comfortable.

But when they got chased by police they worked together and tried to flee.and throughout the film they became more and more close. But then they got captured. And Hec had to go to jail for a while and then transferred to rehab. But at the end of the film they became best friends and bonded together well.

Fun things about grammer

 One fun thing about English is that we cant understand and talk more and also what can make me fun in class is playing games about grimmer and English related. for more ideas, we can do like team building or more games about English and grammar

International Woman's Day - Poem

 My Mum is kind.

My Mum is strong.

My mum is beauty.

My mum is always on my side.

My mum is love. 

My mum is my heart.

She gives me cuddles.

When I crumble.

She was there there for me when I wasn't.

But in the end she is loyal, my only love and my only saviour.

The Heart

 Today we will be dissecting a sheep's heart with my class.

We're doing this dissection  because we want to know how a heart works and what's about it.

My hypothesis is that what we can see and what is inside like the artery, the two atrium, and the valves.

 The interesting part was how it felt,the smell, and how it would. My group and I cut part by part, first we cut up the right part of the heart where the blood is held. After we cut up the whole heart.

When it opened up we saw white strings that held the heart together which is called the heart strings.

Then we investigated the inside of the heart. We tried holding and moving the heart strings.but it held through. The heart strings help the heart not to explode or not to break the part of the heart.

We also saw lots of other things like the atrium and the vertical and we can't forget the valves.

And at the end we cut the internal heart. It was a really big muscle substance.

so at the end of the session i felt really fascinated and grossed out at the same time

ESOL Challenge

 This week the challenging part of ESOL is the 3 words that had to be in the story. i had to mix and match words and sentences to make my story have a meaning. oh well it was a bit hard at the start but i got the hang of it. well that was the only challenging the thing that happen this week for ESOL
