 In my opinion,  being able to be confident when public speaking is an important life skill because it can help with many different things like, talking to your class, being able to do a certain speech in a crowd. And it also make you feel good about yourself and boosts your self esteem to keep going. Relating to this statement,  I know as a student is really hard to have confidence in public speaking but just a little courage can do lots of things through out your life.

Debating

  Today my class will be focusing on debating for our up coming event. these are a few facts that i have gathered about debating. What is debating? Debating is a formal method of arguing about a topic. Debaters job is simple, they have to influence the audience for them to be persuaded on the topic the debater talks about. In relating to Debate, pro and cons are used for the session of debating. Pro means is an advantage of something and con mean a disadvantage. and for short Pro meaning "in agreement" and con meaning " in disagreement." Proposition is a meaning of judgement or opinion which relate to debating, the reason is that it the audience needs to judge the opinion about the topic.

 The IP skill that I used today was giving out warm fuzzies to my group. The games we played so far were twister and guess who. For me Twister was the most hard and more challenging out of the two games we played, but Guess who was more easier and just challenged us to figure out who the opponents person was. But

Week 9 do now

In my opinion Matariki should be a  public holiday because we should all celebrate it together as a family and spend some family time. Backing up my statement, it is very important for each other to spend some time with family and learn about matariki.

week 8

 Why English is the most important subject to learn in school. In my opinion English is very important not only for school but through out your life. first, you can communicate to other foreigners or people and second it is just really useful for different kinds of things. Gathering all my facts we know that English should be the most important subject in school.

Distillation

 On Monday we will be doing a practical called Distillation.Distillation is the scientific experiment used to show the processes of evaporation and condensation. Evaporation is making liquid into gas by heating it up. And Condensation is turning gas into a liquid.  The aim is about evaporating coke and seeing how much sugar is in each of the coke products. and my hypothesis is how it will be evaporated and what will happen to the coke.During our practical, we noticed that our coke zero started boiling and entering the tube attached to the conical flask.When the liquid  started to travel to the tube the boiling tube which was covered with ice to condense the the coke. at the end of the process all that was left was the bits of ingredients that was inside the coke.

Behavour Reflection

In my opinion I am always learning ready because I get to school in time and  and  usually get my work done in time. In every class I usually aim for excellence in every thing I do. And through out my school life I always bring to school a can-do attitude and always bring a positive smile to everything I do. When teachers talks to me or tell me what to do, I use manners to them to be respectful and kind. And the areas I am currently working on are usually meet dead lines and line up respectfully. For me meeting dead lines and lining up respectfully is sometimes a challenge because one I usually get distracted or get to lazy. So for me, next time I need to be more mindful about the areas I need to work on.

Concentruction and Dilution

 Today we are learning about Concentruction and Dilution. Concentruction is a measure of how much solute is dissoled into a solvent or for short, how much of somthing is dissolved in a liqued. And dilution in the other hand means  making something less concentruction which means there will be less particals in the liqued. in the bottem is our method for our experiment. Through our  observation we put in the purple in  crystal

 Your name is an important part of who you are. why? So that people such as family members and friends c call you in a specific way. But in my opinion we should all have our own specific way to be called so that it would be easier for people to know who you are.

5 polices and facts of the government

 This term for social studies we have been learning and talking about the policies we agree about. On of the policies I chose was to lower the voting age to 16 years old. First of all some communities want more votes for the governments. Because some people usually say that people who are 16 can be responsible about them.

• -Members of parliament usually earn between $160,000 and $180,000 a year. 

• -Ministers can earn between $250,000 and $300,000.

• -The Prime Minister's salary is set at $470,000.

• -usually work full time, though some, particularly community board members, work part time and do other jobs

• - they can work in offices, council chambers, at parliament and in the communities they represent

 the principal is the most important person in the school because he is practically  the head of the whole school involving them with meeting to talk about school events and how the school curriculum has to be. With more information involving about my statement is that they our the ones who run the whole school and they are advised to keep the school the best it can be.
