This term for social studies we have been learning and talking about the policies we agree about. On of the policies I chose was to lower the voting age to 16 years old. First of all some communities want more votes for the governments. Because some people usually say that people who are 16 can be responsible about them.
-Members of parliament usually earn between $160,000 and $180,000 a year.
-Ministers can earn between $250,000 and $300,000.
-The Prime Minister's salary is set at $470,000.
-usually work full time, though some, particularly community board members, work part time and do other jobs
- they can work in offices, council chambers, at parliament and in the communities they represent
