Cultural Kete

 

 Yesterday me and my partner made a presentation for our Cultural Kete. Our concept was storytelling about the mythical creatures of the Philippines. The creature we decided to do was an Aswang, my class looked at the identities of different cultures like NZ and Philippines. It took patients to make our presentation but we finished it on time. The challenges we faced during our presentation was our clay art video. We never knew how to put it in a loop so it was hard. But for now my partner and I enjoyed the time.

Hunt for the WilderPeople Review

 Hunt for the WilderPeople was what my class watched for our movie research. The movie was officially released March 31 2016. the theme that the director made for this film was comedy and adventure. This movie was inspired by the great novel "Wild Pork and Watercress" by Barry Crump. The characters that were is the film were Julian Dennison,Taika Waititi,Rhys Darby, and Rima Te Waita. In my opinion the cast could have shared the same amount of lines to each other like Rhys Darby, he did not really get the same attention as the same people. For my rating I give it a 4 star. The story line of the movie is really interesting with parts that triggers me to feel emotional but I don't consider kids under 8 to watch this film.

ESOL 9.4.21

 When we settled in the classroom we straight away noticed that our teacher was reading something. she just started reading, ignoring us she did not tell us the title of the book and where it came from. 

The story seems to be about a boy named Noah and his family he has to brothers with Noah being the oldest.His dad told Noah that he wanted to be a photographer at the age of 13(maybe about the same age as Noah).   

Mrs Truter also mentioned in the story he lived near the beach and their parents moved to Kenya in Africa. My prediction to what will happen next is that he will keep talking about his life and his family and might have a bit of drama.

SEXXXY paragraph 3 - Kurt Warde

 In this part of the movie we see that Hec and Ricky are working together to not get caught by the police. Like what happened in the start of the movie where they both started running into the woods because they knew they were going to get caught and go to jail.The Audience may have felt worried or scared for Ricky and Hec because they might get caught. The Director made this scene to make us feel scared or worried for them because it will feel dull and boring if there isn't any drama happening in the film. The part of the coloring in the film is really white and brown which tells us the scene is set in the snowy forest.  Then after the short chaos they thought they were safe..but for now. They continued to walk around the forest to seek shelter.

hunt for the wilder people - Kurt Warde

 In the beginning of the film “Hunt For The Wilderpeople” we start to meet Hec and his wife Bella. Both Bella and Hec have a strong relationship, they love and bond with each other. Until they decided to adopt a child named Ricky. They have recently been more distant between each other lately after Ricky arrived in their lives. The audience may  have felt more confused and worried about Hec and Bella’s relationship between each other because Ricky might ruin it for them.
The cause of this for the director to add this in the film is to add more spice and drama into it because it might not be the best film to be watching.
The viewers loved how the film angles were all different but my favorite film shot angle was the intense parts where mostly all the rough parts are in. And by the end of the film Hec becomes more understandable and Bella sadly passes away. But that didn't stop ricki and Hec to stop being best friends.
